When others ask me ‘who are you?’, I hesitantly say my name. It’s not because I am ashamed, but because I am more than my name.
Though Sayuki is my designation, it is not my definition nor exerts any connotation related to me.
As conscious beings, we adapt ourselves to our surroundings and constantly change to suit a society or social group. Whether that be friends, family or others. The cause of such ‘evolution’ defines who we are and in our mind we are linked by a sense of belonging to this group.
It is just something interesting I realised.
